Triin Edula

Anesthesiology, small animal dentistry, surgery.

I have been involved in the profession of a veterinarian since the beginning of my university studies. Since my first year, I have been exploring and participating in various animal clinics in Estonia. In my penultimate year, I broadened my knowledge as an exchange student at the Vienna University Clinic in Austria.

As a veterinarian, I have had the opportunity to work in a wide variety of environments – in a smaller Estonian town, in a mobile animal clinic, in an animal shelter and in clinics equipped with modern diagnostics and equipment. These experiences have taught me how different animals, their concerns and their owners can be.

However, I was brought to the Pärnu Small Animal Clinic by my own dog, whose orthopaedic problem had to be solved. I was impressed by both the professionalism of the clinic and its attitude towards animals and their owners. Therefore, the decision to join the clinic was not very difficult.

My biggest special interests in veterinary medicine are anaesthesiology, small animal dentistry and surgery.

For me, it is important that both the pet and its owner feel good at the clinic. I know from my own experience what it means to be a pet owner on the other side of the reception desk. I want the owners to feel that their concerns are being heard and that their pet is in good hands, even in more difficult situations.

I am a die-hard fan of Golden Retrievers, a member of the breed and an enthusiast of the breed. In my free time, you can find me walking in the woods or taking care of dogs. As a hobby, we are engaged in rally obedience, dog shows and nose work.
